CONCERT IN BURSA AND DARDANELLE
The Chorus performed Borodin's Polovtsian Dances, pieces from "Kurtuluş" soundtrack of M.Sun and several marches in March the 16-18th 2007 evenings by accompaniment of Bursa State Regional Symphonic Orchestra in Bursa and Dardanelle.
The State Polyphonic Choir took place in Dardanelle 90th year Exibition Center at the Concert for the memories day of the Martyrs of March 18th and the 92nd Celebration of the Victory on the Sea of Dardanelle performed the same program as in the previous concert. |

THE FENERBAHCE SYMPHONY
The Fenerbahce Symphony was performed for the first time
The Fenerbahce Symphony that was composed for the 100th establishing year of Fenerbahce SK has met audiences for the first time.
The Fenerbahce Symphony was performed by The State Chorus of Turkey and Bilkent Symphonic Orchestra in March the 13rd 2007 in Lütfi Kırdar Int.al Congress and Exibition Centre in which a lot of people took place from the world of Sports, Art, Bussiness and Broadcasting. Also The Choral Fantasia op. 80 of Beethoven was performed in the concert.
Meanwhile The Fenerbahce Symphony that was composed by Fazıl Say will be repeated in Ankara and Bodrum. |

A Ceremony Performance
State Polyphonic Choir taking place a ceremony performed by the Interior Ministery in March the 6th 2007 presented a short program to the audiences consisting of harmonized folk songs. |

Yunus Emre Oratorio
State Polyphonic Choir performed "Yunus Emre Oratorio" in Izmir in march the 1st and the 2nd 2007 was composed by the famous Turkish composer Ahmet Adnan Saygun because of the 100th birthday of the composer. |

 Germany Tour
State Polyphonic Chorus fascinated the German music lovers during its tour in Germany. Our German Ambassador Mehmet Ali Irtemcelik’s participation to the opening concert was a great motivation for the chorus. After each concert, our chorus was honoured by the German audience’s applause. State Polyphonic Chorus’s concerts took place in important concert halls such as Berlin Konzerthaus, Bielefeld Dr. Rudolf Oetker Halle, Münich Gasteig and Frankfurt Alte Oper. After receiving a lot of praises, our chorus was invited to the following art season to perform concerts with the Philharmonia of the Nations Orchestra in Turkey, in Germany and in Croatia.

A Historical Adventure in Music
Our Chorus has been carrying out its training concert series called “A Historical Adventure in Music”. These concerts are given to the young students. It is a great chance for them as they are able to their questions and have an interactive session. This acitivity consits of 2 concerts for each school and each of them lasts about 50 minutes. The students not only listen to the chorus but also learn the history of music. In 2006-2007 art season, 12.000 students are aimed to be reached by 20 concerts. |

 Our Women and Folk Songs
Our Chorus gave its first concert which has a theme called “Our Women and Folk Songs” in Istanbul on 25.11.2005 This campaign is called “Stop the Violence Against Women” and is supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Woman’s Status General Directory. This concert was followed by two others in Ankara and in Amasya. It was a pleasure and a great motivation to see the participation to these concerts. Not only the public but also the Minister who is Responsible for Woman and family Mrs. Nimet Cubukcu and some other parliamenters were there. Giving these concerts in Bartin, Nevsehir, Trabzon and Antakya is in the agenda of our Chorus for the following season. |

EU Program - Culture 2007-13
On December the 15th 2006 in the framework of Culture 2007-13, which is a
EU Program, a 'Project Management" training was organized at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel in Istanbul.The funded projects of Cultural Contact Points of
Bulgaria and Romania were also represented during this training.
The representation and training sessions of the Culture 2007-13
program of EU are organized by the Cultural Contact Point and our
Association is invited to these sessions. In this respect, another
meeting was held on 26 Dec 2006 at the Sheraton Hotel in Ankara and
our Association was one of the participants.
