State Polyphonic Choir performed Carl Orff's Carmina Burana
State Polyphonic Choir performed Carl Orff's Carmina Burana for the audiences of Ankara that hasn't been performed for a few seasons.
Because of the construction in the concert hall of the orchestra, the first concert that was realised in an association with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra was performed under the conduction of Rengim Gokmen in the historical building of the State Conservatory on September the 21st 2007 Friday evening in an unusual way.
Also Mamak Municipality supported the concert that was performed in the building in Cebeci which was the first School of Musical Teachers and nowadays is used as Mamak Cultur Center.
The concert on September the 22nd Saturday was performed in the Stadium of METU. The work interpreted successfully by the Pesidential Symphony Orchestra, establishing date going to 1826 and the youngest musical ensemble State Polyphonic Choir by the help of the one of the oldest educational societies METU was listened by more than 8500 students, academic personal and musiclovers while soprano Hulya Kazan, tenor Haser Tek and bariton Kevork Tavityan were taking place in the concert.

Fenerbahce Symphony was in Ankara
Fenerbahce Symphony composed for the 100th year of Fenerbahce Sports Club was performed on September the 9th at 9 o'clock pm. in Ankara Bilkent Odeon. As known before, the work that was first performed on March 2007 in Istanbul belongs to Fazil Say.
Bilkent Symphony Orkestra took place in the concert in which also Beethoven's op. 80 Choral Phantasie was performed and listened by the General Commander Mr. Yasar Buyukanit, the chairman of the Federal Court Mrs. Sumru Cortoglu and the General Manager of Fenerbahce Sports Club Mr. Aziz Yildirim.
Traditional solo performances of our choral artists in the orchestral concerts was continued and soprano Gulben Ozisik Cayan, alto Sema Baysal, tenors Ethem Demir and Serhat C. Saygi and bass A. Sinan Gulsen took place in Beethoven's Choral Phantasie as the soloists and succeeded indeed. |

Chorus opened the Season of Art
State Polyphonic Choir came together with the audiences at the opening concert of 2007-2008 Season of Art in Bodrum and Datca.
After performing Fenerbahce Symphony on August the 25th Saturday in the Antique Theatre of Bodrum, the Choir came together with the audiences while performing an unaccompanied concert on August the 26th Sunday in Datca. |

Last Events in the Favourite Choir of Europe
* According to the information from Fenerbahce Sports Club and Bilkent Symphonic Orchestra, Fenerbahce Symphony that was planned to be performed in July will be performed on September the 9th.
* Our Choir preparing a CD containing Ahmed Adnan Saygun's unaccompanied works because of the 100th year of his birth continues its rehearsals while most of the musical communities at home and abroad having their vacations. The CD having also the first performances of some works has a meaning of being the beginning album of the series of Turkish composers. After the recordings in September, the Choir will also produce a CD of Muammer Sun. * State Polyphonic Choir being respected because of the performances at the concert tours abroad began getting invitations for concert tours in 2008. Our Choir will perform concerts in Germany, Israel, Croatia and China in the next season. |

Symphony of Fenerbahce composed for the 100th year of Fenerbahce Sports Club is in Ankara Bilkent Odeon at 9 o'clock p.m. on September the 9th. As known before, the work performed for the first time on 2007 March belongs to Fazil Say.
Additionally Bilkent Symphony Orchestra will take place in the concert containing also Beethoven's Choral Fantasia and is being conducted by Ibrahim Yazici.

Saygun made the Turkish-American Associations come together
Saygun's Yunus Emre made the Turkish-American Associations come together in Izmir.
Yunus Emre Oratorio came together with the audiences of Izmir again on May the 19th 2007 in the evening.
The concert that was told to be performed in the Antique Theatre of Ephesus was performed in Ismet Inönü Center of Culture because of unsuitable weather conditions.
At the friendship concert of the American Youth which was realized by means of Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Aydin Dogan Foundation, our State Choir once more performed A.Adnan Saygun's wonderful work that makes Yunus Emre's mystic songs alive with the guest choir from Minnesota University.
State Polyphonic Choir was accompanied by the American Minnesota Orchestra and the Academic Orchestra of Hacettepe University. |

THE LIVE BROADCASTING
OUR CHORUS CAME TOGETHER WITH THE AUDIENCES IN THE LIVE BROADCASTING
The State Polyphonic Chorus came together with the audiences in the live broadcasting.
The Choir took place in Duygu Dikmenoglu's television program ''Gel De Katilma'' performed valuable samples from its wide repertoire.
The program has been in Kanalturk at 20.15 o'clock on May the 2nd 2007 Wednesday. |

The Chorus is in Israel
Our State Chorus went to Israel by the invitation of Haifa Symphony Orchestra performed J. Haydn's oratorio "The Creation (Der Schöpfnung)" under the conducting of Noam Sheriff.
State Polyphonic Chorus performed " The Creation" for the first time as the 36th work of its orchestral repertoire in our hard working concert period.
After that concert in Haifa, the Choir went to Tel Aviv and repeated the concert.
At the end of the concert that our Ambassador and the staff of our Embassy listened to, our Choir sang from its unaccompanied repertoire making an exception to the tradition for the great wish and clapping of the audiences.
Our Choir causing a great sensation in the national press of Israel returned home with new concert proposals.

Beethoven's 9th Symphonie for Germany, the President of EU
The Choir took place for a special evening of German Embassy for Germany's presidency of EU at March the 25th, while continuing to work for concerts after a hard but also a successful concert tour.
