The Chorus was in studio for CD recordings
The choir was in studio for CD recordings
State Polyphonic Choir took place in the studio for CD recordings which were announced to be realized in the season 2007-2008.
After recording Beethoven`s Choral Fantasie op.80 with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra and famous Turkish soloist Idil Biret, the Choir recorded A.Adnan Saygun's and Muammer Sun's choral works.
The tonemaister was French Jean Martial Golatz, the productor was Dincer Yildiz of the albums those will be distributed by Sun Publication were recorded by Ibrahim Yazici's conduction. Also Bilkent Faculty of Scene Arts, Yesa and the Association of Polyphonic Choirs supported the activities.
Recording of the choral repertoire of Turkish Composers nearly consisting of 600 works on CDs is among the coming projects of our Choir.
Recordings of the State Polyphonic Choir lasted 80 hours after the rehearsals of 120 hours.
The CDs in which soprano Sule Koken and bass Tuncay Kurtoglu participated as the soloists will be ready for sale in the spring after the editing and mastering process in France.

A.A.Saygun-Muammer Sun Concert
Our State Choir performed a concert containing Saygun's and Sun's works on January the 30th.
The concert that was organized by BESOM ( Association of Composers, Orchestral Conductors and Musicologists ) was admired by the audiences in Gazi University Concert Hall and also Sule Köken, one of the soloists of Ankara State Opera took place in the concert. |

 Mevlana Year's Special...
Mevlana expresses his life by the words '' I was raw, but now I'm cooked '' and his philosophy gains it's meaning by the words '' Come, come again, whoever you are, come!'' and is accepted all over the World.
2007 being realised as the Year of Mevlana all over the World by UNESCO because of the 800th year of his birth took place by various activities.
The concert that performed by the State Polyphonic Choir and the Presidential Symphony Orchestra was one of them.
Can Atilla's Mevlana Oratorio performed on December the 7th 2007 in Anatolia Scene.

Change of Program
CD recordings of A.A. Saygun and M. Sun which were announced to be made before were postponed to February because of the obligatory change of the program of Bilkent Concert Hall that would be used as a studio. |

Soundtracks from Prof. Muammer Sun
Kurtulus and Cumhuriyet are two wonderful films those make our recent history light.
Also being composed by Prof. Muammer Sun is among the common properties of them.
The works had been performed by our State Polyphonic Choir were recorded again. The recordings were made by our Choir with the accompaniment of Bilkent Symphony Orchestra under the leading of Isin Metin as recorded the original Film Musics before.

 Kurtulus was in Antalya
The soundtracks of Kurtulus that was composed by Prof. Muammer Sun played in Antalya with Antalya State Symphonic Orchestra.
The concert that performed under the conduction of Inci Ozdil - one of the conductors of the State Polyphonic Choir in the past - is in Pyramid Center of Culture on November the 3rd. |

 Canakkale Oratorio
Our State Polyphonic Choir performed a remarkable concert on October the 27th evening in Izmir in the event of October the 29th the Establishment of our Republic for our young soldiers for whom we cry nowadays because of the terrorist attacks.
Ibrahim Yazici conducted Izmir State Symphony Orchestra in the concert that Vasif Adiguzel's Canakkale Oratorio been performed in Ismet Inonu Center of Culture.

The Examination of the Children' Choir
Singers were admitted to the State Polyphonic Childrens' Choir by the examination on October the 6th and 7th. Little singers less than 10 years old were admitted to the Childrens' Choir that works under the patronage of the State Polyphonic Choir Directorship. |
